That choice is Nicks to make. You also may not understand the choice for a McDonalds to build in a certain neighborhood when there’s a McDonalds one block away. You don’t have to understand the choice or agree with it. In America, we have property rights. If the owner wants to build somewhere, that’s their prerogative. Perhaps he got a good financial deal for the property. Perhaps he likes the location for ingress/egress. Perhaps he likes the type of tree he can see from his office window. Doesn’t matter why. All that matters is he can. So he did. COULD he have saved some headaches by choosing somewhere else? Who knows? That’s speculative. Some savor and specialize in speculation. But the facts are, he has the right to locate his business there. If there’s a problem with it, he’s not even on the list of people to blame.
