You’re right…he is require to inform us of the share structure. By SEC regulation, there is a defined period of time that they must do that. We will know very shortly when the definitive 14A hits the wire.

Perceptions of good/bad on the final OS-Float-Ratios will vary widely; we still need to focus on the closing. I’m not so sure that crying to Steven at every down-tick is such a good thing either. Let them do their job…ink the deal.

The latest filings and PRs starved the momo’s for fuel. Again, my read of the charts doesn’t show any significant dilution or shorting. I still maintain that one or several of the deep pockets decided to do something prudent…lock in profits. This started the downside momentum…with no one to catch the knife.

The price is low enough to force our reevaluation of the fundamentals. If the fundamentals weren’t solid…we wouldn’t be here having this discussion.

I’m in for the long haul…I like Aero…I like their progressive marketing and the brand they’ve developed. So few companies truly embrace the understanding that the “BRAND” is perhaps more important that the product itself. Aero seems to have both…a great product and a carefully cultivated BRAND. At this point, Aero could market almost anything and do well with it. The Aero name is Carte Blanche in NASCAR, which means higher margins, reduced marketing and distribution cost, and faster product penetrations. Overall, I really like the potential this company has to expand their market share, product lines, and penetration.

Putting aside financials and current valuations for a minute, one of the measures I look at is how innovative and progressive is management. Everything I see points to a very sophisticated and progressive marketing and management structure. This company didn’t happen by accident; they are here to make their mark on the world…a world of NASCAR, affluence, high margins, and high growth rates.

Sure, we took one on the chin over the past week; but the corporate fundamentals speak for themselves.

Bottom line…Aero sets the standards for the markets it plays in…that’s where I want my money invested. Sorry for the long post.

Just the musings of an old duck hunter from NH…Justin.
