Guess the question wasn’t understood then. Obviously 100% of something is better than 50%, except of course it isn’t that simple of a dichotomy. Add an extra ~$25M to get that last 50% ownership currently, and that’s assuming Nasrat and Epic group act as a unit and that none of them have sold any shares in 10+ years.

I guess anything is possible but the theory that Nasrat and Epic just came in to play the LOOOOOONG game and purposefully slow bleed Elite for nearly a decade to then have to also pay $25 million dollars to take it private, then take it back public again doesn’t hold water for me. If the plan was to effectively kill off the public version of Elite the whole time, then why file any ANDAs at all? Why launch more drugs? Why work on various partnerships? Just claim “R&D” but have all the new formulations “fail” and let the cash burn bury them. That had already been happening for many years before Treppel showed up. Why would they want Elite to ever be profitable at all?
