I believe that $AMC had to cancel the dividend as part of the loan terms on a note so they would have to take care of that credit facility first.

I would love Divies as I have 8400+ shares

I wish I could find the link and this is from a prior post someone made a platform I can not remember, they also cancelled the share buy back at around the same time

Shorts have to pay dividends on their borrowed shares- that would be the icing on their coffin.
