Yes Aviptadil needs FDA approval for the market. Physicians will not prescribe an unapproved drug . I agree that the length of the clinical trials is extreme (15years). FDA rules are too strict. Then theres the double standard with big pharmaceuticals by FDA. However clinical trials & drug approval are a must for all drugs. Otherwise there would be a flood of worthless drugs with potentialy horrible side effects. FDA needs an overhaul in regards to length of clinical trials & rules........
