I’m wondering under what conditions would a reverse split happen and I believe it would possibly happen under at least these two conditions:
If NP was to be removed, either a dilution or a reverse split would more than likely happen.
If a change of board happens, a reverse split would more than likely happen.
A change of board would reverse split the stock, I believe. The small investor would be finished. If a 1-10 reverse split were to happen how many shares would you have then? Think about it! What about a 1-100 reverse split?
People, beware of who you follow on this board because you don’t know their true intentions nor of what there investment in the company really is, and also beware of what you ask for because you just might get it but that gain you hope for may not happen if some changes were to take place. Especially ones that involves the share structure. Some of you are huge bag holders and with a share restructuring plan may increase the share price and the stock may add value and new investors causing the stock to go higher but you just might barely break even if a reverse split were to take place. And the investors with hundreds of thousands or millions of shares will still come out well, especially if they got their shares at huge discounts.
A hostile take over or change of the board and a removal of NP could eventually kill the small investor off. A small investor in this case is individuals with under 50k shares, I believe. For instance, if 50k shares down to 5k (1-10 reverse split), the stock would have to go up $10 to make 50k, $20 to gain $100k, when with 50k shares I’d gain $100k if it goes up $2. See the difference? And that’s assuming the stock goes up. What happens if it goes down after a RS, as lots of stocks do? All IMO, of course!
IMHO, I don’t think a reverse split would be a wise choice but being that nothing is said about it but there’s plenty of talk of wanting NP removed then I think it should be mentioned about a possible RS. Ijs!
