"Comment (Development): FIRST LOCATED IN 1914 AND EXPLORED FOR GOLD, WITHOUT SUCCESS. RELOCATED IN 1949 WHEN A NEW ROAD WAS BUILT ONTO THE AREA FROM VERNON. IN 1952, SEVERAL TRUCKLOADS OF ORE WERE MINED AND HAULED TO THE TOY MILL FOR TESTING. IN 1955 THE DEPOSIT YIELDED AN ADDITIONAL 225 TONS ORE GRADING ABOUT 1.0 % WO3."
