I still believe that China has something up their sleeve.
The motives of a country whose culture is 100% egocentric and does not contain one scintilla of altruism are easily imagined. But the specifics, until revealed, are left unknown.
Something is coming. What is it?
They may believe that through some form of chicanery they can upset the world economy and come out on top. But to believe this might be slightly naïve and very arrogant. Although every country is motivated by enlightened self interest there is no going around the plate of spaghetti which represents the entanglement of the world economy. IMHO
