Extremism (esp religious) Is this what some Americans really want in the name of freedom? Do they really want this country to become more like the countries with religious dictators?

I could be wrong. Maybe religious extremism has only been expediently embraced by the GOP now in lieu of their oath to the constitution ~ just like some dissembling CEO's, boardrooms and of course penny scams . It works when you aren't really accountable.

I have faith most will toss the blatant lies aside eventually and some reasonable governmental activity will resume. But it might take a bit more patience than I have.
