The update wasn't spectacular but, I wouldn't say it was terrible. They did get booted back to animal toxicology studies, which is literally the first trial you do before you begin any clinical trials to demonstrate the safety of the drug. I thought the silver lining was there is a specific reason the FDA asked that with the DNA/genetic testing, but that is a weird request. If someone is vaccinated, they shouldn't be getting COVID to need a treatment. So why does this matter? Are all drugs being tested for that now? It seems like the FDA punted them hard to be honest.
