If Putin had knowledge of a clinical trial's status and made a unilateral decision to prematurely make the information public there would be a rather lengthy list of pharmas who would cease running clinical trials in Russia.

You are making a ridiculous postulation that Putin is willing to jeopardize a chunk of Russia's economy just so he can announce trial results of 120 cohort trial funded by a tiny startup USA biotech.

Putin is striving to regain a seat at the big G7 table. Putin is a lot of things but he's not stupid.
