The term ............ rest in peace ........... is one of the most over used terms out there besides ............ I love you.

The term "I love you" is so over used the words in most cases are just that.

Words with no action behind it just like the term ........ rest in peace.

How many times no matter what forum you are on you'll see an announcement someone has died and the vast majority of comments are ........ rest in peace ..... by people TOTALLY clueless to that persons walk with God?

Did they have one?

If not SAVED there will be NO PEACE!

This kind of hopefully sums it up a bit better.

That term rest in peace has been getting to me for some time as it is WRONG to use it when you don't know that persons situation.

Reason it is wrong is you are telling others by using that term after dying there is peace to be had.

How can one say that as that is a LIE if they haven't repented bringing Jesus into their life.

Unlike your brother whom you are at peace knowing HE is at peace!

That term ......... I love you ............ a person told me that last week and I said do you realize love isn't just saying it your ACTIONS behind the word has to fulfill the meaning of that word.

Just like rest in peace ......... if that person's actions didn't consist on repentance and knowing the great "I AM" then that term is nothing but a bunch of feel good garbage coming out of their mouth!
