Simply because it’s FILLED at 6 digits, doesn’t mean the MM is trading it for themself. Again, if the MMs want to trade stock for themselves, they have to do so in proprietary accounts. These are simply broker-dealer firms that facilitate the trading of a security. Supply and demand cause the prices.
