I believe they tend to show up in stocks that have moved a lot.

I'm not one for the shorting conspiracy but I believe they short or dilute stocks.

I HAVE NO IDEA IF THAT IS TRUE - THIS IS ME PURELY SPECULATING!!!!!!!!!!!!
