Batman will not go quietly into that dark night — not when it comes to the cunnilingus controversy about whether he likes to fully pleasure his lady friends.

“Batman Forever” star Val Kilmer — who played the legendary Dark Knight in Joel Schumacher’s 1995 film — suggested the Caped Crusader is always down for oral action in a now-viral tweet posted Wednesday.

After proffering the open-ended question “Does he or doesn’t he…?” in his caption, Kilmer, 61, posted a GIF clip of him and “Batman Forever” co-star Nicole Kidman.

In it, Kilmer’s captioned Batman utters the fitting line “We could give it a try — I’ll bring the wine,” ratcheting up the sexual tension with Kidman to a red-hot degree in his infamous latex “nipple suit.”

Kilmer was cheekily responding to the creators of “Harley Quinn” — an animated spinoff featuring the villainous gal pal of Batman nemesis the Joker — who claimed they were told to cut a scene where the Caped Crusader performs oral sex on Catwoman, because “heroes don’t do that.’’

“In this third season of ‘Harley,’ we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman,” Justin Halpern, executive producer and co-creator of the DC Entertainment-HBO Max series, told Variety last week. “And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that,’” the show exec said. “They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.’ “

Halpern added that when he asked, “‘Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?,’ they were like, ‘No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.’ ”

Kilmer’s fans, of course, lapped up his social media moment like thirsty pussycats.

In addition to hundreds of quips too raunchy to repeat here, one fan declared: “And Kilmer wins Twitter today,” along with a clip of the toothy actor’s iconic Iceman character from 1986’s “Top Gun.”
