They're nice people but apparently too trusting.

I try to educate my clients about that all the time.

I've had clients say you need to be paid now?

I've said yes you can trust me but noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Don't pay me till end of job.

I tell them if I told you some of the stories I've heard of clients being ripped off you'd need a kleenex box.

Now all that being said, I do realize some contractors will charge a fee up front if they are ordering kitchen cabinets but even then I don't understand why the payment shouldn't be made once delivered.

I know of a company around here who was a kitchen bath CONtractor who was doing well and then for whatever reason took bunch of clients for their kitchen remodels.

They had paid up front for their cabinets they were never delivered company shut down claimed BK.

Have no idea what became of the situation I do know some of the family started a new company under a different name and away they go.

Beyond sad for those people who worked their butt off to have their dream kitchen only to be ripped off.

Most CONtractors in my area are bunch of IDIOTS who when it comes to good work or ethics lack both.

I've called many of them out on my FB business page.

Slander is only slander when it's not true.
I have pictures of their work.

Clients already paid for it now they paying me to fix what their money went to CONtractors who took them badly.

Sad as the money is out there we are very blessed to have all these tech people spending their money around here.

These youngsters have never been through the bad times when you were sitting at home wondering how you were going to make it.
