The 58 Packard was more of the Studebaker line than a true Packard, but still bore the name plate in two models, a 4 door sedan and a station wagon. Auto lines desperately tried to stay viable in the 50s by consolidating, but with the Big 3 making in roads into their dealer networks many old name plates became extinct.
