I was attempting to write something on my computer but got so rudely interrupted by the internet service out here that I had to start over again. When I write "Mackinaw" . . . it ain't the same is "Mackinac". Although, they are pronounced the same. It's like Gila bend, AZ. Do you know how to pronounce that? I didn't, until I lived in Yuma. What about, Ja Jolla, CA? Do you know how to pronounce that?
