I am pretty sure that Mr Bass saying that UDF is basically in liquidation mode will make the judge laugh out loud. the entire point of the alleged damages to UDF and its funds is that Mr Bass took illegal actions that basically prevented them from initiating new business. over time projects are developed and what was lent against bare land gets recycled as construction loans for the development and later on, as bonds get issued, money gets paid for water infrastructure etc. as projects reach certain sales milestones things move on, but UDF basically have very little access to outside capital.
