Niz-No, if we are in the Dell player, Hitachi is just the supplier of the drives, imo. I think the OEM would be a company like Wistron, as Sentinel, Murgirl, Tenderloin and others here have indicated. It has been told to some that the OEM for e.Digital doesn't brand their own branded items, therefore Hitachi would not be the OEM, just a supplier of the 1.8" drives.
