Google who owns all the mineral rights in Iceland

From what I read that doesn't mean much. According to what I read, "Iceland has few proven mineral resources. In the past, deposits of sulphur have been mined, and diatomite (skeletal algae) was extracted from Lake Mývatn until recently. However, today most sulphur is obtained in the refining of oil. That plant has now been closed for environmental reasons. The only natural resource conversion in Iceland is the manufacture of cement." AND "A senior analyst for metals and mining at Bloomberg Intelligence, Grant Sporre, has expressed scepticism St-Georges could sell Icelandic gold at a premium since there is no universal standard for what qualifies as “green gold.”" Iceland is all about the green environmental movement, no way they allow mining in the near future.
