RE: The Approval of Biogen's Aduhelm as an Alzheimer's Drug is very interesting, indeed. It's all based on the reduction of beta amyloid plaques - not patient outcomes.

“This reduction in plaques is reasonably likely to result in clinical benefit.” (That DOESN"T sound very definitive.)

I believe some of you were also on the Prana board and have some "background experience" with AD. Yes, the presence of beta amyloid plaques is a "hallmark" of AD, but it has yet to be proven (unless one of you can show that it has) that decreasing or deleting the amyloid plaques actually resolves the Alzheimer's. That and the side effects (66 out of 1386 dropped out due to adverse reaction) and it appears many of the adverse reactions definitely exceeded the placebo group.

I guess we'll see the class action lawyers gearing up in a few months...
Fortunately, Leronlimab is FAR SAFER and definitively effective...I wouldn't be too quick to start chugging Aduhelm!
