Decentralized Finance, or De-Fi, aims to use technology to remove intermediaries between parties in a financial transaction. In 2020, the growth of De-Fi took the crypto world by storm.
In fact, Total Value Locked (TVL) – a measure of De-Fi transaction value – grew by 14x in 2020.
