There are no more shares to dilute so no longer an option for shorts. They had chance when wonda sold. The only option for shorts now is to cover.

If 25m shares are aproved they can not be used till 2022 ... AMC filed with SEC to that effect.

The 25m shares is not enough to cover the short shares. The only way out for shorts is to buy back the shares.
