My sons play baseball (sorry for the analogy).
When they go up to bat, often they are heckled (esp. one who is short for his age).
We have talked about the expectation of heckling.
We know it will happen, especially since sports brings out the ugly in some.
I tell them just focus on "your game."
Shut them up with your game.
We don' spend thousands of hours in the Florida heat every year, in preparation, to end up in a shouting match with noisy people.
They have no bearing on what we do and the results.
