Fantastic post Frankestin. Entry into the body through a trocar was problematic for me. I could not believe they would use a rigid trocar for access. I have seen Gelport for laparoscopic cases or hand assisted surgical cases but I did not believe it was possible that a Gelport was compatible with ENOS. Basically, this is an accordion access sheath with a sealing system attached that in my mind and a crucial piece to the puzzle. It is also a disposable which generates revenue to each and every surgical case.

It also capture of any fluid from the body into the sheath to prevent any contamination of the abdomen, .keeping the surgical field sterile

Chuckled a bit as the verbiage on the patent as it is similar to the Titan MDT agreement. Not sure if it was English at first. Now if I had seen REDACTED in the patent, I really would have had a laugh.
