Barry,

I have spoken to some who are more knowledgable than I and they indicated that if you have investors who are interested in a single portion of a company, taking that portion private can improve the ability for financing and if the agreement is written properly it can be beneficial to the common shareholders of the overall company. So, it looks like this move will only be clear if financing is found and then once we know the details. I know it isn't much, but I hope it helps.
