You know that the mine startup is about to go down especially with the enivornmental co-ordinator position.


When they find out the quality of this high concentrate Tunsten and are ready to process, this will be a major major winner.

Expect to see filings again very shortly now that its actively trading again and the CCAA was successful.

This miner has lagged behind peers for wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to long and it will be a big big winner. Lots of upside potential in store for it.

Environmental Coordinator Role:

Reporting to the Mine Manager and the Senior Environmental Coordinator, the Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for environmental management activities when the Senior Environmental Coordinator is off-site. Incumbents must have a demonstrated knowledge of federal and NWT legislation and regulations. Must have demonstrated experience in leading monitoring programs with little supervision. Must possess a degree or diploma in environmental sciences or a related field, and 3-5 years’ working experience in a similar role.

Environmental Coordinator Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Conduct all site activities with an emphasis on health and safety;
Assuring compliance with permits requirements and regulations;
Conduct daily site inspections and maintenance;
Monitor site activities and document, report, and provide advice on any non-conformances;
Collection and accurate tracking of various data;
Conduct surface and groundwater sampling programs;
Hydrology and hydrogeological monitoring;
Geotechnical monitoring;
Preparation of monthly reports based on site activities and results of monitoring programs;
Online reporting to the RISS
Liaison with contractors, consultants, and various inspectors and stakeholders;
Assist with spill response activities as required;
Waste management activities;
Erosion and sedimentation mitigation activities;
Act as primary contact for all regulatory authorities;
Administrative activities;
Use of wildlife deterrent measures expected;
Other potential duties may be required.


Education/Certification Requirements:

Post-Secondary diploma or degree in environmental sciences
Professional designation preferred (BIT, EIT, EP, C.E.T., etc.)
Standard First Aid Certification preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Skills and Experience:

High level written and verbal communication ability
High aptitude with MS Office particularly with word and excel
Experience with ESdat data management system an asset
Able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to problem solve in a quick and efficient manner while maintaining a high level of safety
Ability to assist and advise contractors, consultants, and co-workers
Experience with waste management, particularly hazardous waste is an asset
Technical competency in science, regulations, and compliance
Wildlife management
Environmental equipment operation and maintenance
Physically capable of conducting manual labour (lifting up to 50lbs)


Schedule and work expectations:

This position is based at Cantung mine site, Tungsten, NWT.

Fly-in; Fly-out
Currently four weeks in/ four weeks out due to the pandemic, but will be changing to three (3) weeks in/three (3) weeks out rotation in June/July.
Twelve (12) hours per day
Contract position until April 2022 with potential for extension.
Work schedule dependent upon operational needs and may be subject to change.

Full days of field work are expected at times.

Full days of desk work expected at times.

Travel by trucks and light aircraft required for job tasks and crew changes.
