I think Nats1 pointed out a Legal Scholar article on why these big political cases are usually decided toward the end of the term.

That said the USSCT can do whatever it wants...

This is a summary of the Duke 2015 Law Review article giving the stats and putting forth the 3 reasons they think they save the best for last.

Their analysis is excellent - however they leave out the 4th, and most likely reason why the GSE cases may be left to the last one or 2 weeks before the beach break. And I think that every man, woman and child who has invested in the GSEs already knows this. We are all anxiously waiting on this!! Like they say - a watched pot never boils.

So tomorrow? Quizas - after all, its been almost 6 months since orals - but not likely.
