Went to my Grand-daughter's H.S. graduations today. Rain, Rain go away....she went to a private school, St.Catherine's......While we hear little good concerning kids, their education and dismissal of God from school, I thought I would pass on just a little of her graduation ceremony. I will only give a pinch, not the whole song etc, just enough to give a slight flavor:

School Hymn:
Father in heaven who loves us all, Oh help your children when they call......then the song carries on with God bases.

Poem: Jerusalem:
And did those feet in ancient time tread upon England's mountains green? And was the Holy Lamb of God on England's pleasant pastures seen? And did the countenance divine shine forth upon the clouded hills......etc....etc...

Closing prayer:....by a senior classmate

Help us, O God, to remember, through the example of Jesus Christ, that what we keep we lose; only what we give remains our own. May our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives with the Father and Holy Spirit, be near us, behind us to justify us, and above us to bless us. Amen

Now I am not promoting this school 100% a pinch too much on the liberal side for me, but then I am just an ole stick in the mud. But I found the message given to these young ones to go out into the world with was good. If in time to come and tough times falls on them, as falls on all people,,,,,maybe, just maybe, some of the above words will come to their minds and they will reach out for God's helping hand....We may drift away from God, but, God is securely anchored and never drifts away-----always right there for you and for me----God Bless
