Let’s assume you are right and Bynd’s "product" is pure crap compared to where BABYF is coming from.
Following is a scenario that could be getting attention of all partie.
BABYF Market cap is $200mm, pps $2.00 more or less
If BYND aggressively wanted to buy us (and our present and future product line), they would be able to do it with 7,000,000 new BYND’s shares ($1B).
Thereby,
- they would add 10 to 12 % to the O/S they currently have out there,
- their PPS would probably drop to $125 or so
- before rapidly getting back to their starting point of $150.
- They then would have greatly improved their product line.
I wonder what the management would do facing such an offer (Else management would probably get nice personnel perks to be even more attracted by the offer.
