People need to understand the concentric circles that surround and flow out of the below which you noted and I repeat

When I was growing up, the CEO-to-median worker pay ratio was 20-to-1. That was good money.

Today, that ratio is 320-to-1.

Summary
For the sake of capitalism and maybe democracy - the insane wealth inequality we have reached must be seen - understood and yes - in some logical fashion redistributed. So "free" (tax funded) third party child care - funded by taxes on the 1% or top half of 1% -- redistributes in a way that grows GDP and creates jobs and hope
