We need to get past the conspiracy stuff; as you can see ALL politicians from either party once in place do nothing for their own nefarious reasons. I believe the GSE saga originated under Obama as an attempt to socialize them, now under Calabria he wants to shrink their footprint to grow private lenders coffers(his next employers?). For all the reasons known and unknown it all had to start w/ poor governance under Bush to even allow them to get into the position for gov't takeover for an Obama administration to even attempt to make this permanent…

There's enough blame to go around for centuries...
