Logic and reasonable deduction.
If the folks at Herradura believed there was bonanza grade gold amounts based off of the "If our neighbors have gold then we also have gold" theory Mexus likes to use, then there wouldn't be any need for a drilling program, they'd just follow the geological structures that are producing results for them into Mexus properties and dig away.
That's not happening. So one can reasonably deduct the folks at Herradura are looking for some kind of data that mining the Mexus claim can be financially feasible before they just jump into any kind of agreement.
What will those results find? Who knows? But for certain the Herradura team isn't taking Mexus' word and previous claims and assay numbers as a source of truth.
