A good one you posted here. While people constantly complain about how bad our world has become, talk about all the evil that surrounds us each and every day and folks think things can get no worse and sure enough some idiot steps up to the plate and proves that yes things can get way worse. Your Romans 12:10 offers a fix. This morning I went looking for Scripture concerning "return to God and He will heal" and I was surprised that just how many passages of Scripture concerns this very subject. Scripture from way back yonder in the beginning of times God has been pleading with folks to return. Scripture clearly states to "love God and love our neighbor" then all else will be OK......We live in the greatest country on earth, I remember when I was a little boy every Sunday the churches were full, even the folks who did not attend church would put off any yard work, etc. until after Church was over. Back then we called it respect. Now I just do not know or understand people, it does not take any effort to be kind, no effort to stay away from gossip, no effort to show a little respect, even if we disagree with another. Just an opinion here, organized religion has fallen away, drifted from the truth, I think Peter best says it, "The time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God." NO WAY I can fix the world, my country or my local area, so back sometime ago when my thinking was that things can get no worse I got to thinking was it everyone else or maybe it was me.....NAW!!!! Can't be ME. I am good----BUT what I did when I was out in the world when I had eye contact with a person I offered a pleasant greeting, after going through the check out line I told the cashier thank you and if they were pleasant I thanked them for being kind, and let them know that their kindness may really make a person's day,, when I would see a person with a T-Shirt with a Christian slogan I would make a polite comment and my acts of kindness & politeness seemed to change my little corner of the world. Fixing the world is a simple fix, if the Christian would start by fixing themselves 1st. You say you are a Christian, a person of the Faith, then walk the walk... OH!!! by the way, I wrote this, yes, and by the way I have lived both sides, however, I have learned through personal experience that my world is a much better place for me to live in when I changed "MY ATTITUDE"----God Bless
