Brilacidin in contrast to Remdesivir ...

In contrast (to Remdesivir) Brilacidin may have 3 antiviral mechanisms of action. In addition, it is a proven broad spectrum antibiotic and it has anti-inflammatory properties.

..Brilacidin starts killing Covid 19 in the serum shortly after infusion. It does not require conversion to an active form like Remdesivir and Pfizers PF 07321332Brilacidin is the only antiviral being studied which is virucidal. It attaches to the viral coat and destroys the virus shortly after contact.

The Pfizer drug is a prodrug, like Remdesivir, and has to be activated to its effective form.

In addition testing at the RBL demonstrated that Brilacidin prevents viral attachment to the cells. Computer simulations showed it may deactivate the virus's main protease.

Brilacidin has several anti-inflammatory properties which may limit the Covid 19 inflammatory cascade which leads to many complications including pulmonary failure.

It broad spectrum antibiotic may reduce the secondary infection rate in hospitalized patients which has been reported as high as 8%

Brilacidin has been successful in all its previous studies. The Phase 2 study is soon to be fully enrolled.

HOW MAY WAYS CAN BRILACIDIN "BETTER" REMDESIVIR...FAUCI'S FORCED THERAPEUTIC APPROVAL?

SO WHAT DOES REMDESIVIR (besides many SAE being investigated) DO?

Even if greater success is demonstrated in Brilacidin's CT with Remdesivir SoC...and FDA requires Brilacidin and Remdesivir to be approved together for EUA, INVESTORS take that Admission of Brilacidin's Efficacy for starters...

"Can there be COMPARITIVE MEASUREMENTS between Brilacidin and REMDESIVIR IN BRILACIDIN's CT...via Retrospective Analysis ... "IF there were sufficient number of patients that did not receive Remdesivir"?

It not an IF... at least (see PR) 75% of the patients in the study WILL NOT RECEIVE REMDESIVIR...because 75% of the trial patients will be from RUSSIAN study where Remdesivir was never approved and is NOT SoC...and therefore will not be in either arm.

And to the Question: ..."Can you provide, by way of example, how it could be shown that "Brilacidin is 10% better over Remdesivir"...using the above outcomes?

IMO...its not a question of a "10%" improvement...it is a question of demonstrating any positive outcome related to ANY ONE OF 1-7 above!

Imo ODDS ARE STRONGLY IN THE FAVOR OF BRILACIDIN...for positive results!
