I think some may be under false impression that they have to sell at the Bid price, which is not true. I know that I had a broker tell me this once, and I told them they were full of it and I could set my sell/ASK at any price higher than what I paid, that I did not have to sell at bid price. That could be what may be happening. People getting false info from the brokers they are using. Just a thought.
