NWGC's RCM prospects, here is some actual real DD. Yes I did my own home work on $NWGC's soon to be RCM

Less than 2 Miles away from the Mark Miller, soon to be NWGC, RCM-Rock Creek Mine claim, is

Placers also typically formed after flash flood events, so when looking for gold in creeks, dig down! One placer mined at Smith Gulch at South Pass contained gold throughout the sediment, but there was notable concentration at a contact with abundant organic material associated with coarse grain pebbles & cobbles that provided evidence of a past flash flood. A second pay streak was found on bedrock.

-----------------------------------------
That site is 1.9 miles to the south, on the east side of Atlantic city.

"Placers are detrital deposits that have valuable minerals concentrated in rivers & streams. Gold placers typically have abundant heavy minerals including black sand (magnetite, ilmenite, hematite, zircon, spinel, garnet). Such black sands may also contain other valuable material including cassiterite (tin), scheelite (tungsten) ruby, sapphire, diamond & more. So look for all of the valuable minerals in your gold pan or sluice."

"So, how do you identify gold? Easy, look for a high price tag. Just kidding."

Another major Place gold mine he mentions is also not far away

"It is believed that the Spaniards discovered gold in Wyoming as recently as 200 years ago. The first discovery that we have record of today was along the Sweetwater River, where placers were found sometime during 1842.

This area would later become the Atlantic City-South Pass District. It is theorized that trappers had taken the time to prospect the area and made these discoveries, but the original discoverer either died or was killed before the news of gold in the area spread.

At the time of the discovery, there were still ongoing hostilities with the Indians, and so the sudden spike in mining interest so common to other states did not materialize.

This discovery did lead to small groups of armed prospectors attempting to mine gold along the Sweetwater River, but this was a limited and dangerous endeavor due to the privations and Indian raids.

By the late 1860s to early 1870s, the gold from Sweetwater River had been traced upstream to the Carissa lode. This event prompted Wyoming’s first true gold rush and the creation of several mining districts.

The Atlantic City-South Pass district was the largest of these, located at the southern tip of the Wind River Mountain Range in Fremont County. While total production figures are unknown, it is believed that as much as 325,000 ounces of gold have been mined from this district.

For those hunting for specimen-grade gold samples, the South Pass greenstone belt (southeastern margin of Wind River Mountain Range) just might be the best place to start. This district encompasses veins as well as shear zones or faults that are gold bearing. Lander is situated about 23 miles to the south of this district. A large part of Wyoming’s overall gold production was sourced from here."

"The turn of the century saw the decline of gold production and the shift of mining interests towards copper. Through 1959, total gold output was pegged at about 82,000 ounces. The gold production decline in the area can be attributed to myriad factors, such as losing the vein in a fault, difficulty of access, more mining interest in other states or even the bankruptcy or mismanagement of the mining company.

However, this should not discourage those looking to mine in Wyoming. There is very little evidence to support that Wyoming has exhausted all gold resources, and the current sources are far from mined out.

The state’s mineral history shows gold discovery spanning all the mountain ranges in the state. Both lode and placer deposits have been found at one point or another despite the relatively low attention given to Wyoming’s mining industry."

Image below, Black is NWGC's planned to merge with RCM-Mine site, SW corner. Map above is 99% Precious metals, Gold, Platinum, Palladium..., Map above is REE locations (or test sites) in reddish purple dots, and the black dot NWGC site is almost inline between them.

The black dot in the middle is the planned NWGC mine site, SW corner. The Red stuff is "critical And strategic" mineral stuff!!

Historical gold nugget found in Rock creek, now in a Museum

There are 2 types of gold deposit: lodes and placers. Lodes are traditional veins of ore that are embedded in rocks and minerals. To recover gold from lodes, miners must blast, drill, mill, or chemically separate the gold from the lode.

Placers are secondary deposits which are created when lodes erode by weather and other environmental factors. Heavier metals like gold tend to be transported during the erosion process by rivers and streams.

There are some scattered gold deposits in the greenstone belts in Wyoming, some large paleoplacer gold deposits, and a few porphyry copper deposits and gold deposits in the Absaroka Mountains. Wyoming should have a lot of gold but it historically produced 50 to 200 times less gold than all of its surrounding neighbors (except Nebraska), yet it has more favorable geology for gold. This suggests there are still some major gold deposits that are hidden in Wyoming

Dan Hausel is THE authority on mineralization in Wyoming (and has extensive knowledge on Wyoming gold prospects and mining - particularly in the south pass region). https://www.linkedin.com/in/danhausel/

Some key takeaways from his blog:

Rock creek is a source of gold thanks to the broader area having many shear zones (lodes).
Erosion of the lodes in this region supplies placers for tens of millions of years!

Based on geology, the two better placers are in South Pass are Rock Creek and Willow Creek.

Rock Creek was explored most systematically in the 30s. However, highly inefficient sluicing was used, leaving behind considerable amounts of gold in both the gravel and soil they deposited near the creek. Gold was absolutely in both, but apparently they didn’t find it economical enough to bother extracting in further.
----------------------------------------
Gold was $33/oz then, has tested $2100/oz recently. Hmm

Mining methods and technology and hardware are light years beyond what existed in the 1930s. Gold is 1500% more valuable now, and mining hardware, sample and mining methods are 100 times better and cheaper now.
----------------------------------

The operation was closed by the beginning of WW2
(as mining was forced to shut down for the war) and was never reopened. Basically nothing happened for the next 80 years in this particular property apart from some people occasionally hunting around with metal detectors looking for nuggets at the surface.

An estimated 22,000 ounces of gold could be in the old gravel piles alone. Some quantity of gold would be in the old loam piles. And an unknown amount could be in the virgin unexplored land on the property around the creek.

---------------------------
22,000 oz X $1600/oz = $35.2 Million dollars of gold the old gravel piles.
------------------------------

According to Hausel, on a nearby property along Rock Creek in the late 80s, a prospector named Gerald Stout found “considerable” gold in the virgin ground.

This would suggest there may be significant gold found in RC Mineral and Rock’s virgin ground as well.
