Stopped...temporarily. I think it only delayed it and built up the pressure behind it. Flooding the market simply means that there are that many more shares to be removed in order to "rightsize" the share structure. HFs made a bet on bankruptcy, it was a bad bet, now they're paying the penalty to exit.

If there are more in the wild than the company has authorized then it's the DTC/MMs on the hook and AMC has a helluva good standing for a lawsuit under RICO,conspiracy, malfeasance, etc. imo
