Well all the calls I wrote from 2.50, 3.00, 3.50, and 4.00 all expired worthless with the stock closing at 2.46. The problem is I really didnt get much premium from them, but the more I think about it, for example you can get around .40 for the 2.50 call, which means you can pay for your stock (which is much cheaper to buy now than say 5 bucks) within a few months of premiums month after month while the stock is down here at these levels, it's all relative to the price how much premium you will get. I think the best way again is to wait for a spike, there's always a spike, and write the calls into that spike, so I will be on alert for the writing June calls, which i have started writing a few but nothing worthwhile. What I dont want to let happen is go a month without writing hardly anything, it's just wasted time. Another approach is to write the calls two months out, thats a way of getting premium that may be more worth it.
