Yale University Epidemiologist: 60% of new COVID cases are in vaccinated people

Wrong clown face Dr. The 95% efficacy coming out of the original clinical trials means exactly that 95% did not become infected vs the controls. If one is not infected, one can not spread the virus.

Since the introduction of the vaccine, daily new cases are down 10X. What caused that? Happy bubbles in the bathtub?

Using the example of Israel, one of the countries where the population has been massively vaccinated, about half, the professor said that “studies there show that it reduces the spread of the infection by somewhere around 50 to 60 percent.”

More bullshit. From Jan till now Israel experienced a 100X or fold drop in new cases. That reflects a high vaccinated rate.

For Dr. Risch, vaccination contributes to some extent to herd immunity but not in the way the authorities have tried to make people believe that after vaccination, they will be able to lead a normal life.

Try to stop me Risch. I'm not going to worry about the anti-VAX crowd getting ill with severe Covid, long hauler syndrome. They made their choice. Neither am I going to worry about getting a mild case of Covid, when nearly 100% of the breakthrough cases are mild.

The people who test positive from the nasal testing or some from the antibody testing, are the number of cases that we know about, the official number of cases.

Well tutie fruitie. I'm not going to rush in panic to the EMR on a Sat night if I have Covid symptoms. Neither would I be getting a Covid test upon feeling normal the next morning.

Risch swims in his bullshit. News flash: Vaccinations weren't available last Fall in the US. And there has been no new "peaks" since vaccines became more widely available in Feb 2021. That so called natural immunity wasn't working out too well. With cases at 200K per day in Jan, and yet still approaching 10% of the population overall.
