What I meant to say was that PCR findings of breakthrough cases will not be reported unless a person is hospitalized or died.
And exactly how would one keep track of ALL breakthrough cases? You are assuming someone fully vaccinated, with mild symptoms for less than 18 hrs is going to run in panic to their Dr., when they get up the next morning, and feel normal again. Or that a fully vaccinated person with nasal congestion in the middle of Spring pollen season is going to run and get a PCR test.
What the CDC is essentially tracking is the percent of vaccinated population where the vaccine didn't take. As just one example it is already known up to 50% of those on an immuno-suppressive drug, will have a very weak immune response to the vaccine. Which their figures show is at a 0.0012% rate of vaccinations.
Science also knows the immunity from the vaccine is at least 6 months. Sometime in Jul, after the data is gathered, they will have a 1 yr reading. And where does the data come from? The original vaccine clinical trials which started last April. Ya see, although you constantly poo poo controlled clinical trials, the FDA does not. Whether it be an EUA authorization, or after a regular marketing approval is made, the FDA still requires long term safety data to be gathered.
How long the vaccine lasts, especially against the variants will be answered by those who participated in the original clinical trials. It really is as simple as that. So keep on trying to imply the vaccine is ineffective, and a mass of breakthroughs are occurring. Yeah 0.0012% is a mass. I laugh at the conspiracies.
