Crypto scares the hell out of the authoritarian regimes. Notice the trend? Turkey, China, Iran. These are countries where the theme is to subjugate and persecute and punish. To a certain extent even India has a raised eyebrow last I read somewhere. Great way to suppress the population, deny them of hope and freedom of choices. Then we have the free world where crypto is allowing millions to make choices they thought they'd never have or be able to achieve.
