Benoit Laliberte blew market-ready acquisition of RuralCom Corp. That company had spectrum licenses, in-bound roaming agreement from AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint and a small but usable 3G network along the BC North Coast and the Alaska Highway. Benoit thought he'd fire the RuralCom CEO and do an end-run with the outside investment bankers who followed and supported him. Well guess what? When dummy Laliberte picked those investors they all showed him the door.

Yes, he's that ignorant of the wireless industry. Doesn't have the industry contacts and now can't raise capital from institutional sources due to that ignorance, the $47M bankruptcy of Teliphone-Navigata-Westel, and his convicted criminal status per The Canadian Press.
