Not at all Cornus explains it well

With a 10:1 R/S, you get:

Share Price of: $2.70
O/S gets reduced to: 16,500,000
Authorized Shares DO NOT CHANGE (from original R/S filing)
Market Cap DOES NOT CHANGE = 45,000,000

Now, this alone does not devalue any shareholder investment and can provide the necessary listing requirements to attract institutional capital. HOWEVER, now we have a ridiculous public offering, which does EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE OF A REVERSE SPLIT.

Share Price After R/S = $2.70
Public Offering of (pick your poison, but let's assume we go to at least half of current float) = 63,500,000
O/S after public offering = 80,000,000
Market Cap DOES NOT CHANGE = 45,000,000

Share price now equals = 0.56 and you just lost close to 75% of your investment!!
