I think streamlined Smart Shoes are already in play, or at least some companies are in development stages and with GTX’s patents, maybe we will get in on some of that action. I asked GTX about Apple and Nike not long ago and they said Nike had already approached them about their patents.

Innovation is key to companies like Apple and Nike so I think it’s only a matter of time. People are accustomed to buying a new phone every 2 years, with a smart shoe, you’d have endless possibilities with styles making people buy multiple pairs and they’d wear down quicker than your average handheld device. Granted we might only be a small fraction in that shoe, but something that big would be a game changer. With GTX getting certified on the big boy cell networks only makes it more of a big deal. Now we just wait for the call…
