i will comment on this as the rest i'm ok with (especially as you found more christian palestines then i did.

as i recall there was no civil war in palestine before zionism entered the picture. even so many oposites join forces to fight a common enemy but who knows what would be going on if the % christians value was higher. c'mon does your government speak for native americans, or any other minority? when have democracies ever been about minorites - (except in hung parliments etc) ?

i suspect that if lebanon was not continuously interfered with by out side forces it too would be a much happier place. if you have been following the angryarab blog he has sighted numerous suspected interferences.
