It's simple: Phase 3 Covid: He needs someone else to fund. It would be in the tens and tens of millions. If they get a great GREAT trial result, either a gov grant or even a pharma might step into to pay for a phase 3. Emergency use: I give about a 1% chance of that happening. IN the current enviro we are in, where everyone is freaking out about safety of vax's etc, there is no chance in hell a drug dosed in 120 patients gets public approval to release to the world. Long-term safety effects anyone? Has IPIX ever done multi-year long-term safety studies on any of the other 400 or so patients dosed in other indications with Brilacidin? Y'all tell me, i don't know, and I would love to hear why you think emergency use is "such a no brainer". It's 1%. What you can hope for as a gambler or shareholder is: 1) they get great trial data 2) they pump the F out of that data 3) the shareprice goes above .63 cents (and stays there). and 4) god bless you if you want to hold for a 1,000 patient phase 3 or sell at that point. it won't matter by then. Pray.
