IRS Seeking Identities of Taxpayers Who Have Cryptocurrency

Back in 2016 the IRS succeeded in using the same "John Doe summons" to force Coinbase to reveal user identities in order to prosecute users for tax evasion beginning in 2013. Reportedly 90% of Bitcoin users failed to report gains.

"This John Doe summons directs Coinbase to produce records identifying U.S. taxpayers who have used its services, along with other documents relating to their virtual currency transactions."

Not that any of this will ever affect PRPM as I'm personally confident Eddie will never make good on any crypto/ NFT coin/token. As usual, he just jumps on whatever "get rich quick" scheme is in the news and proclaims to be "a leader in the field of (XYZ)."
