Ernie, thank you for the compliment -

What SIRC does need is cohesive BRANDING - for it's individual segments to be determined (if they deem appropriate) and for the overall Corporate umbrella.

It is not just an appropriate name...but font...logo...and how, when and where each is used - to present a professional, memorable look, feel and touch-image that defines the organizations goals and meaning - and brings everything together as one

When anyone would see anything - SOLAREV - they would immediately get an appropriate visual meaning of what this company is about

There is much that goes into a successful BRANDING strategy - it may seem to be - but is not EASY - and the parties involved work closely together in a coordinated effort to achieve results, success.

I am a Senior Art Director (one of several) for an established, Nationwide Ad Agency based out of Chicago. I oversee the efforts of staff on projects from A thru Z for Clients - beginning to end - and it is recognizing Clients goals prior....that bring a Campaign or "look"

At this point, my day to day is more bottomline Excel Spreadsheet MBA work - developing strategies internally and with larger Clients - than actual working with InDesign. Although I luv to also get hands on dirty.

SIRC needs to spend some $$$ on this

I understand the nature of what we are up against when we say that
they have Roofing Company Roots... it can be the last thing thought about.

Its a vehicle that gets to where they want to go.....so, do they want the world to view them as driving around the world in a beat-up 15 year old Corolla, or want the world to see SOLAREV as a success - an Enterprise. It's all about how they present themselves.... from ROOFCON events to everything (website "look").

My life is extreme.
Get up early - depending on where I spent the night, at the loft downtown apartment or home in the burbs.... get to work..... then after dinner, do the husband things.... followed by often working after midnight many nights a week - running the Winery biz from 150 miles away.

Best advice:
I can see SIRC economically spending in the neighborhood of 20-25K with a seasoned freelancer (who comes in with excellent references) who knows what he/she is doing to develop all of this.

It would be worth it.
